Roberta J. (Leroux) Bernier

Franklin——Mrs. Roberta J. (Leroux) Bernier, 55, of 20 Oak Street, died at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon on Tuesday, March 5, 2002. She was the widow of Phillip M. Bernier who died in May, 1999.

Mrs. Bernier was born August 1, 1946 in Laconia, NH, the daughter of Paul A. and Betty J. (Patten) Leroux. She grew up in Laconia and attended Laconia High School. She formerly lived in Deering, and was a resident for twenty-two years in Northfield before moving to Franklin four years ago. She worked for Spinnaker Contract Manufacturing, Inc. as an assembler for many years.

Survivors include three sons, Phillip M. Bernier, Jr. of Franklin, Howard R. Bernier, of Merrimack, and Thomas P. Bernier of Northfield; a daughter, Amanda J. Bernier of Franklin; 7 grandchildren; her mother, Betty J. Kelly, of Laconia; two brothers, Paul A. Leroux, Jr. of Moultonboro, NH and Florida and Roger Leroux of Gilmanton; four sisters, Patty Smith of Laconia, Carol Beebe of Laconia; Rita Morris of Laconia, and Terry Beauregard of Belmont; and many nephews and nieces. In addition to her father, she was predeceased by a brother, Michael Leroux in 1991 and by her stepfather, Richard O. Kelly, in 1977.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2002 from 7:00-9:00PM in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH.

A Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 13, 2002 at 11:00 AM.
