Laconia-----Edward Ray Weller, 61, of 9 Park Street, Lakeport, died at the Lakes Region General Hospital on Monday, May 5, 2008.

Mr. Weller was born June 10, 1946 in Randolph, Vermont, the son of Raymond and Edith Weller.

Mr. Weller was raised in Vermont and moved to New Hampshire over thirty years ago.  He was employed at Allen Rogers for fourteen years and  was also employed at Plymouth Manufacturing for eight years, retiring due to illness.

Mr. Weller was an animal lover.

Mr. Weller is survived by his wife of twenty-six years, Nena M. (Heath) Weller, of Lakeport; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Gail and Bill McCown, of Belmont; his nephew, Kenneth Sawyer, and his wife, Jennifer, of New Hampton; a grandniece, Emma Sawyer, of New Hampton and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

There will be no calling hours.

A Private Graveside Service will be held at the family lot in Bayside Cemetery.  Rev. Sharron Lamothe, Pastor of the United Baptist Church will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the New Hampshire Humane Society, PO Box 572, Laconia, N.H. 03246.
