Edith Simms Laconia, NH---Edith Simms, 93, of Highland Street, Laconia, died on January 5, 2008. Edith was born in Marshfield, Wisc., on January 2, 1915, the daughter of Benjamin and Florence Peck. Family members include three daughters, Ruth Fredericksen of Pinellas Park, FL, Jane and her husband, Dick Akers, of Williamsburg, VA, and Karen and her husband, Bob Monahan, of Laconia; brothers Sanford Peck and wife, Jackie, of Buchanan, MI, George Peck and wife, Muriel, of Cedaredge, CO, William Peck and wife, Mary, of Orlando, FL, Lloyd Peck of Post Falls, ID and sister-in-law, Arlene Peck, of Spokane, WA. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2008 at 1:30PM at the Laconia Seventh Day Adventist Church, 241 Province Street, Laconia, NH. Burial will follow at 3:30PM at Red Hill Cemetery, Bean Road, Moultonboro, NH. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 241 Province Street, Laconia, NH, 03246.
