Laconia-----Grant Conrad, 43, of Laconia died suddenly, May 11, 2007 in Laconia.

Mr. Conrad was born in Rumford, Maine on July 27, 1963, the son of Theodore and Winona (Myshrall) Conrad.  He attended elementary school in Andover, Maine and high school in Bethel, Maine.  He received a degree in machining from Eastern Maine Technical College.

Mr. Conrad worked several years at N. H. Ballbearing and transferred to Levasseur Precision, working there fifteen years as a machinist.  He enjoyed woodworking and time on Lake Winnipesaukee.

Mr. Conrad was a member of the Laconia Congregation of Jehovah Witnesses.

 Mr. Conrad is survived by his wife of fifteen years,  Jodi (Ladd ) Conrad, of  Laconia; a daughter, Marissa Conrad, of  Laconia; a grandchild, Noah Belfontaine, of Laconia; three stepchildren, Andrea and Benjamin Verrill of Laconia and Aaron Verrill of Nara, Japan; his father and stepmother, Theodore & Sandra Conrad of Andover, Maine; his mother, Winona M. Stecher,of Bethel, Maine; two brothers, Glen and Garth Conrad, both of Andover, Maine; a step-sister, Martha Lutrell, of Rockland, Maine, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many friends.  He was predeceased by his stepfather, Don Stecher, of Bethel, Maine.

There will be no calling hours

A Memorial Service will be held at the Jehovah’s Witnesses Kingdom Hall, Corner of East Holderness Road and Rte 3, Holderness, NH on Saturday, May 19, 2007 at 2:00PM

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Grant’s memory to the Jehovah’s Witnesses Kingdom Hall, c/o Bill Bigelow, 303 Old Lake Shore Road, Gilford, NH 03249.
