Priscilla P. Woodward

Laconia----Priscilla P. Woodward, 89, of 137 Oak Street, died at The Arches in Northfield on Tuesday, May 16, 2006.

Mrs. Woodward was born August 8, 1916 in Ossipee, NH, the daughter of Sidney L. and Blanche G. (Thompson) Perkins.

Mrs. Woodward lived in Sandwich, NH for a few years before moving to Laconia in 1942. Mrs. Woodward graduated from Brewster Academy, Wolfeboro, NH in 1934 and then graduated from Gray Business College in Portland, Maine. She was employed as a secretary at Scott & Williams for thirty-six years.

Mrs. Woodward attended the Laconia Congregational Church. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She hooked beautiful rugs which are treasures to her family.

Survivors include her husband of sixty-eight years, Robert V. Woodward, of Laconia; a daughter and son-in-law, Marilyn and Ralph Twombly, Sr. of Kingston, NH; three grandchildren, Ralph Twombly, Jr., Leanne Durant and Beth Mahoney; five great grandchildren; a sister, Eleanor Belair, of Franklin and one nephew and one niece. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Lawrence Perkins.

There will be no calling hours.

A private graveside service will be held at the family lot in Chickville Cemetery, Ossipee.
