Belmont-------Graveside Services for Arthur J. Horan, 78, who died January 7, 2005 and Evelyn N. Horan, 77, who died November 6, 2004 both formerly of 5 Farraville Road, Belmont, will be held in the Smith Meeting House Cemetery, Meeting House Road, Gilmanton, on Saturday June 4, 2005 at 2:00PM.
Mr. Horan was born January 16, 1926 in Greenfield, MA the son of James and Laura (Clifford) Horan. Mr. Horan served in the US Navy during WWII.
Mrs. Horan was born May 2, 1927 in Gilmanton, NH the daughter of Earl and Nellie (Ellsworth) Clifford.
Mr. Horan was formerly employed by Chertoks Furniture, Lund Ski Factory and Oak Laminates. He also owned and operated Horan's TV Service for many years. Mrs. Horan worked as an attendant for the Laconia State School for over 20 years retiring in 1991.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law Edward J. and Kim M. Horan of Belmont, NH; a daughter and son-in-law Carol and Mark Jesseman of Gilmanton, NH; his half-brother John Horan of Center Barnstead, NH; his half-sister Dorothy Landon of South Portland, ME; her sister Melba Laroche of Gilmanton, NH; four grandchildren; and several nephews and nieces. They were predeceased by a son Arthur Horan in 1994 and by her brother Evertt Clifford and her two sisters Lois Mclarey and Ruth Stockwell.
