Leo Lawrence Hill, Sr.

Belmont-----Leo Lawrence Hill, Sr., died May 18, 2005 at the Lakes Region General Hospital after a long courageous battle with cancer. He died peacefully. Leo was an organ donor and was able to pass on the gift of sight. When he died, he was surrounded by his family and friends.

Leo was born September 20, 1950 in Hanover, NH and lived in Belmont, NH for the past twenty-five years. He worked for J. P. Noonan in Hooksett, NH for the past five years as a certified mechanic. He was a communicant of St. Joseph Parish in Belmont.

Leo was a beloved family man who enjoyed many things including fishing, camping, motorcycling and spending time with his many children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of thirty years, Marilyn B. (Pelchat) Hill "Lucky" of Belmont; four daughters, Michelle Talbot of Gilford, Laura Chamberlin of Northfield, Terrie Lundberg of Salem and Heather Hill of Belmont; four sons, Michael Connor, Daniel Hobbs, Louis Hobbs all of Belmont and Leo L. Hill, Jr. of Surprise, Arizona; twelve grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three sisters, Jenny Joyce and her husband, Wesley, of Grafton, Patty Boyce and her husband, Art, of Belmont and Sandra Cate and her husband, Buck, of Bristol and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his father, Joseph P. Hill, his mother, Blanche Morse and by his brother, Philip J. Hill.

There will be no calling hours.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph Parish, 96 Main Street, Belmont, NH on Saturday, May 28, 2005 at 10:30AM.
