Meredith-----Donald R. Cote, 62, of 25 Meadow Lane, died at home on Thursday, May 26, 2005 following extended health problems.

Don was born March 3, 1943 in Portland, Maine, the son of John and Agnes (Foster) Cote.

Don retired from General Electric Company in 1986 after employment as an N/C Systems Applications Engineer in S. Portland, Maine, Charleston, SC and Lynn, MA. He worked at New Hampshire Ballbearings, Laconia, NH from 1986-1989 as a CAD/CAM Engineer. He was then hired by McDonnell Douglas Corp. in St. Louis, MO, and served as an Uni-graphics consultant/instructor until 1993. He retired October
2001 from EDS/UGS Education Services, traveling from home for the St. Louis, MO based company.

Survivors include his wife of twenty-three years, Elaine (Echola) Cote of Meredith; three daughters, Michele Cote, Dawne Marie Cote and Vikki Cote-Mendez, all of Florida; two stepsons, David Sanner of Pennsylvania and Daniel Sanner of Oregon; two brothers, John Cote of Massachusetts and Ron Cote of Hollis, NH and nine grandchildren, Danielle, Alyssa, Jonathan, Christopher, Maranda, Victoria, Hunter, Jeremy and Brooke. His tenth grandchild, Raelynn, is due in July.

A Calling hour will be held on Sunday, May 29, 2005 from 11:30AM to 12:30 PM at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church 2238 Parade Road, Laconia, NH.

A Service of Remembrance will follow the calling hour at 12:30 PM
also at the Church. Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH is in charge of the arrangements.
