Laconia----George E. Bolduc, 71, died at the Lakes Region General Hospital on Monday, March 30, 2009.

Mr. Bolduc was born June 22, 1937 in Laconia, N. H., the son of Donat and Delima (Campbell) Bolduc.

Mr. Bolduc was a lifelong resident of the Lakes Region. He attended Sacred Heart High School and graduated from Laconia High School in 1955. He was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church.

Mr. Bolduc served in the New Hampshire National Guard for six years and was a self- employed carpenter. He was a former member of the Laconia Lodge of Elks.

Mr. Bolduc is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Barry G. and Geralynn Bolduc, of Laconia; a daughter, Tami Speltz of Bellevue, Nebraska; three grandchildren, Kristine Speltz, Kelly Speltz and Russell Bolduc; four brothers, Philip, William, Anthony and David and several nephews and nieces.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Bolduc was predeceased by three brothers, Roland, Francis and Edmund and by a son-in-law, Major David Speltz.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, April 2, 2009 from 6:00-8:00PM in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, N. H.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 3, 2009 at 1:30PM at Sacred Heart Church, 291 Union Avenue, Laconia, N. H. by Rev. Adrien Longchamps, Pastor of the Church.

Burial will be later this spring in the family lot in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Laconia, N. H.
