Adele E. McGinley

Bow----Adele E. McGinley, 86, of 46 Albin Road, died at her home on Saturday, March 7, 2009. She was the widow of James P. McGinley, Jr. who died in 1973.

Mrs. McGinley was born December 16, 1922 in Brooklyn, New York, the daughter of Arthur and Elizabeth (Kehris) Ruehl. She lived in New York for most of her life before moving to the Lakes Region area twenty-seven years ago. Mrs. McGinley was employed by the New Hampshire Forest Service for ten years, retiring in 1995. She was a communicant of St Joseph Church, Laconia.

Mrs. McGinley is survived by three sons, Michael P. McGinley and his wife, Marsha, of Belmont, NH. and their children, Jennifer McCallum and her husband, Christopher, James McGinley, Brian McGinley, Melissa Salmon-Axtell and Andrew Salmon; Timothy G. McGinley and his wife, Donna, of Bow, N.H. and their children, Lauren Santana and her husband, Damian, Emma McGinley, Kristen Vezina and Nicholas Vezina; Mark P. McGinley of North Carolina and his daughter, Katelyn McGinley; five great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and her husband, Mrs. McGinley was predeceased by a granddaughter, Allison McGinley and by a brother, Arthur Ruehl.

Calling hours will be held from 10:00AM-Noon on Saturday, March 14, 2009 in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, N. H.

Following the calling hours, a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Gary Kosmowski, Pastor of the Church. at 12:30PM, at St. Joseph Church, 30 Church Street, Laconia, N. H.
Spring burial will be in the family lot at St. Stephen’s Cemetery, Warwick, New York.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 1 Bedford Farms Drive Suite 105, Bedford, NH 03110 or to the Concord Regional Visiting Nurse Association (CRVNA) Hospice Program, PO Box 1797, Concord, NH 03302.
