Francis "Frank" J. Larrivee Send a condolence note

Belmont, NH-----Francis “Frank” J. Larrivee, 65, of 21 Sturtevant Drive, died at his home on Saturday, March 15, 2008 with his wife at his side.

Frank was born January 14, 1943 in Berlin, NH the son of Oliver J. and Denise (Gamache) Larrivee. He had been a resident of Belmont for the past 30 years coming from Berlin. 

Frank retired from Seaborne Hospital, Dover, as a drug and alcohol abuse counselor. He was also a primary therapist for the New York Police Stress Unit for which he called his proudest years.  He had formerly been employed at Cormier Hosiery and Bergen Patterson. He was a 23-year member of Bill Wilson’s Friends.  He celebrated his 23rd anniversary on March 4th with his friends at home which was the last goal he had set, then leaned over to his wife and said “I made it.”

Survivors include his wife of twenty-two years, Judy Ann (Bidwell) Larrivee, of Belmont; a daughter, Michelle Champion and her husband, John, of Laconia, NH; 4 step-sons, Marc Forgione of Gilford, Christopher Cass of Laconia, David Cass and his wife, Kathy, of Weare, NH and Earl Cass and his wife, Karen, of New Boston, NH; 15 grandchildren David, Devin, Kaylee, Cassandra, Connor, Gabrielle and Gage Cass, Katey, Crystal and Samantha Champion, Marc Forgione Jr., Jackson Forgione, Courtney Gullage, Matthew Willson and Amber Felch; 2 brothers, Arthur Hebert of Laconia and Danny Warden of NH; 4 sisters, Rachel Herbert, of Gorham, NH, Clair Edwards, of Berlin, Jackie DeCormier, Laconia and Francine and many nephews and nieces.

Beside his parents, he was predeceased by a daughter, Valerie Felch, by a  brother, Fernand “Pete” Larrivee, and by a sister, Louise.

A calling hour will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2008 from 10:30-11:00AM at the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia using the Whipple Avenue entrance.

Services will follow the calling hour at 11:00AM also at the funeral home. Rev. John Davies will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Free at Last Wednesday Night Group, c/o 21 Sturtevant Drive, Belmont, NH 03220.
