Phillip H. Hunt Send a condolence note

Jamestown, Rhode Island-----Phillip H. Hunt, 53, passed away on March 22, 2008 after a long illness. Born on June 12, 1954 in Brookline, MA, Phil attended Lynnfield High School, before entering the Navy in 1972. Phil worked in the construction industry, and was also a long-time employee for the Narragansett Café and Point Judith Liquors. An avid golfer, Phil was a member of several leagues in Jamestown and participated in many fund-raising tournaments in the Jamestown and South County area.

      Phil leaves a father, Ernest Hunt, from Laconia, NH, and a sister, Nancy Porosky, from Gilmanton, NH. He was predeceased by his mother Marjorie Hunt. He also leaves a wonderful circle of friends that were like family to him, from Jamestown Rhode Island.

     A memorial service will be held at the Gilmanton Community Church on Rte 140, Gilmanton Iron Works, at 11:00 AM on Thursday, March 27, 2008. Rev. Linda Bolton, pastor of the church will officiate. In addition, there will be a service on Saturday, April 26th at 12:00 at the Narragansett Café in Jamestown Rhode Island.

       In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be sent to the Jamestown Medical Fund, PO Box 236, Jamestown, Rhode Island 02835.

     Phil fought a great fight.
