Janet M. (Jordi) Clark Send a condolence note

Belmont, NH-----Janet M. (Jordi) Clark, 65, of 421 Darby Drive, died at her home on Thursday, March 13, 2008.

Mrs. Clark was born May 30, 1942 in Elgin, Illinois, the daughter of Alfred and Elsie (Kahl) Jordi.

Mrs. Clark lived in Pembroke, N. H. for several years before moving to Laconia ten years ago.  She was employed at Darrell’s Music Hall in Concord and was also employed at Market Basket in Concord.

Mrs. Clark was a member of the Heritage Free Will Baptist Church where she was the Church’s soloist and organist.  She was also the organist and soloist at other local churches.  She had a passion for playing gospel music.

Survivors include her husband of  forty-four years, Richard E. Clark, Laconia, N.H.; two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert E. and Sharon Clark of Hayden, Idaho and Daniel R. and Naomi Clark of Pembroke, NH; a daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia and Glen Starkweather, of Barrington, N.H.; eight grandchildren, Donald Clark, Katelynn Clark, Alexsis Anderson, Kyle Starkweather, Kelly Starkweather, Courtney Starkweather, Christopher Starkweather and Daniel Clark; three brothers, Alfred Jordi, Jr. of Illinois,  Douglas Jordi of Florida and Lavern Jordi of Michigan; two sisters, Mildred Hill of Wisconsin and Carol Knaak of Illinois and several nephews and nieces.  Mrs. Clark was predeceased by her parents, by a brother, Donald Jordi and by two sisters, Delores Rapasky and Marion Nowicki.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, March 17, 2008 from 6:00-8:00PM in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164

Pleasant Street, Laconia, N.H.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, March 18, 2008 at 11:00AM at the Heritage Free Will Baptist Church, 349 Meredith Center Road, Laconia, NH.  Pastor Joel Nason, Pastor of the Church, will officiate.

Burial will follow in the N. H. State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen, N.H.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Heritage Free Will Baptist Church, 349 Meredith Center Road, Laconia, N. H. 03246.
