Carl Wright Send a condolence note

Gilford, NH-----Carl Wright, 72, of 303 Old Lakeshore Road, died at his home on Sunday, March 9, 2008.  Mr. Wright was the widower of Glenna M. (Hight) Wright.

         Mr. Wright was born July 5, 1935 in Haverhill, N. H., the son of Forrest E. and Althea (Dow) Wright.

         Mr. Wright resided in Warren for most of his life before moving to Gilford two years ago.  He attended Haverhill Academy and was employed at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon, N. H. as a master electrician.

         Mr. Wright was a member of the Benevolent & Protective Order of Elks Lodge #2312, Plymouth, N. H. and a member of the Mt. Moosehillock Masonic Lodge #63, Warren, N.H.

         Survivors include a brother, Ralph Wright, of Haverhill, N.H.; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Violet and Tom Burgess of Chelsea, Vermont, Carol and Rupert McKean of Pike, N.H. and  Marion and Clarence Thayer, Jr. of Woodsville, N.H.; several nieces and nephews; several grandnieces and grandnephews and his two cats, Mischief and Boots.  In addition to his parents and his wife, he was predeceased by a brother, Harold Wright, and by a niece, Anne Marie Belyea.  The family extends their special thank you to his caregiver and “daughter”, Rae Mello-Andrews, and her husband, Rick.

         Memorial calling hours will be held on Friday, March 14, 2008 from 6:00-8:00PM in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, N. H.

         In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Community Health & Hospice, Inc., 780 North Main Street, Laconia, NH 03246, the LRGHealthcare, Eldercare Unit, 80 Highland Street, Laconia, N. H. 03246 or to the Gilford Fire Rescue-Rescue Account, 39 Cherry Valley Road, Gilford, NH 03249.
