Leonard L. Paquette

Tilton-------Leonard L. Paquette, 88, formerly of South Main Street, Laconia, NH died at the NH Veterans Home on Friday, March 11, 2005. He was the widower of Louise (Smith) Paquette who died in 1996.

Mr. Paquette was born August 1, 1916 in Newport, Vermont, the son of Belonie J. & Sylvia (Dubuc) Paquette. He served in the U. S. Army during WWII. Mr. Paquette lived most of his life in the Lakes Region and was a mechanic for many years at Manter-Oldsmobile. He enjoyed gardening and being in the out-of-doors.

Survivors include two brothers, George Paquette of Laconia, NH and John Paquette of Florida; a sister, Georgette Robinson, of Holderness, NH and many nephews and nieces. In addition to his wife and parents, he was predeceased by a son, Leonard W. Paquette, nine brothers and four sisters.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, March 18, 2005 from 6:00-8:00PM in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2005 at 12:30PM also at the Funeral Home.

Burial will follow in the family lot in Bayside Cemetery, Laconia, NH

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the New Hampshire Veterans Home, Activities Fund, 139 Winter Street, Tilton, NH 03276.
