Alice G. Blake

Tilton------Mrs. Alice G. Blake, 92, formerly of 355 Laconia Road, Tilton, died at Genesis Eldercare Network, Laconia Center on Monday, March 1, 2004. She was the widow of Leon S. Blake who died in 1962.

Mrs. Blake was born August 17, 1911 in Thetford, Canada, the daughter of Eugene and Laura (Racine) Hunt. She lived in the Lakes Region most of her life and was employed at Cormier Hosiery in Belmont for eleven years. She was a member of the DAV Auxiliary.

Mrs. Blake was a former member of the First Christian Church, Crossville, Tenn.

Survivors include two sons, Stanley Blake of Belmont, NH and Allen Blake of Gilmanton Iron Works, NH; ten grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; and five great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by two sons, Eugene Blake and Robert Blake; a daughter, Shirley Santerre; and a brother, Ernest Hunt.

There will be no calling hours.

A Graveside Service will be held in the Spring at the family lot in South Road Cemetery, Belmont, NH.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Genesis Eldercare Activities Fund, 175 Blueberry Lane, Laconia, NH 03246
