Laconia——Mrs. Irene H. Dodge, 77, formerly of 41 Butler Street and 25 Union Avenue died at the Belknap County Nursing Home on Monday, June 3, 2002.
Mrs. Dodge was born October 10, 1924 in Laconia, NH, the daughter of Irenee and Alexina (Camire) Huard. She was a lifetime resident of Laconia and worked at Wilcom Electronics for a number of years.
Survivors include her husband, Clarence S. Dodge of Laconia; two sons, Donald E. Dodge of Laconia and Henry C. Dodge of Merrimack, NH; two daughters, Janet Shosa and Grace Desisto both of Laconia; 9 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; a brother, Norman Huard of Bristol and a sister-in-law, Effie Sewell - Gilchrist of Laconia; and many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by three brothers, Raymond Huard, Paul Huard and Henry Huard; four sisters, Alice Colburn, Janet Smith, Rita Fitzgerald and Bertha LaFoe.
Memorial Calling Hours will be held on Thursday, June 6, 2002 from 7-9 PM in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia. According to Mrs. Dodge\rquote s wishes, there will be no funeral service.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Belknap County Nursing Home Activities Fund, 30 County Drive, Laconia, NH 03246.
