Armand J. Dauphin

BELMONT — Mr. Armand J. Dauphin, 80, of 47 Perkins Road, and formerly of Elm Street, Laconia , died at his home on Tuesday, July 16, 2002.

Mr. Dauphin was born July 8, 1922 in Laconia, the son of Joseph and Marie Dauphin. Mr. Dauphin served in the U.S. Army Air Force during World War II in Africa and Italy. He was a longtime resident of Laconia and was the greenskeeper at the Laconia County Club for many years.

Survivors include a sister, Alice Little, of Laconia; a brother, Joseph Dauphin of Florida: several nephews and nieces; and his companion, Mary Tutt of Belmont.

He was predeceased by his first wife, Rena (Defosses) Dauphin, in 1978; by his second wife, Mary (Craigie) Dauphin in 1997; by three sisters, Pauline Bisson, Simone Boucher and Irene Tuttle; and by a brother, Henry Dauphin.

There will be no calling hours.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 19, at 10 a.m. at the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant St., Laconia. Burial will follow in the family lot in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Laconia.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, New England Affiliate, 210 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701-4688.
