Laconia---Carol G. Santos 59, of 24 Walker Street, died Sunday June 14, 2009 at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon. She was the widow of Jesus Santos who died in 1991.

Carol was born September 21, 1949 in Quezon City, Phillippines. The daughter of Jose and Fe A. (Querubin) Gonzales. She had lived in the Phillippines for most of her life coming to the United States two and half months ago.

Survivors include a son Jerome Santos of the Phillippines; 3 daughters Kristine Santos and her partner Adelis Sanchez of Laconia; Jessica Zarate and her husband Marcos Zarate of Chicago and Denise Chuacuco and her husband Vlademir Chuacuco of the Phillippines; 3 grandchildren Maximus Zarate and Ysabella Zarate and Joshua Santos; 3 brothers Marion Gonzales of Calif, Geronimo Gonzales and Joselito Gonzales both of the Phillippines; 5 sisters Guia Gonzales of Calif., Rebecca Bernardino, Araceli DeLeon, Sandra Galvez and Jenifer Galorport all of the Phillippines; many nephews and nieces.

There are no calling hours.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Joseph Church 30 Church Street Laconia Wednesday June 17, 2009 at 10:00 AM. The Rev. Gary Kosmowski pastor of the church will officiate.
