Gilmanton, N.H.---Paul Edward Follansbee of Durham, Northwood and Gilmanton, New Hampshire passed away at the age of 86 on May 26, 2009 at the Maine Veterans Home in Scarborough, Maine. 
 
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy during World War ll, owned and operated Follansbee's Restaurant in Durham, N.H. and served as Post Master in Durham until his retirement.
 
He leaves four sons; three grandchildren and Connie and the great staff at Maine Veterans Home.
 
Services will be private.
