Clarence Leslie Moor III

Laconia-----Clarence Leslie Moor III, 66, of 16 Arlington Street, passed away at the Lakes Region General Hospital early Friday morning, June 22, 2007.

Clarence was born November 6, 1940 in Laconia, N.H., the son of Sara S. (Mitchell) and C. Leslie Moor, Jr.

Clarence was a true gentleman who had a great appreciation for gardening, time with friends, the Audubon Society, photography and literature.

Clarence was a part-time employee of Lakes Region Community Services for the past ten years, serving in their very busy mail room.  He enjoyed getting to know the employees of the Laconia Post Office through this position.

Clarence was proud of many things:  to be able to be a homeowner, of his beloved beagle named Kalani, to be a member of St. James Episcopal Church as well as the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.   He enjoyed the company of his many friends, especially Doug, Brad, Eli, Nancy, Walt, Kalani and Tony.

Clarence is survived by his brother, Justice Moor, his sister-in-law, Virginia, residents of Clarkston, Michigan, a niece and a nephew.

There will be no calling hours.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 29, 2007 at 11:30AM at the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Audubon Society of New Hampshire, 3 Silk Farm Road, Concord, NH 03301.
