Loving Mother and Grandmother

Laconia-----Margaret J. Bertrand, 72, of 16 Charlevoix Place, died at the Lakes Region General Hospital on Sunday, June 3, 2007. 

Margaret was born December 17, 1934 in Richford, Vermont, the daughter of Armand J. and Marion M. (Morin) Bertrand.

Margaret was a long time resident of New Hampshire.  She was a communicant of St. Joseph Church and was also a member of the Laconia Salvation Army where she was a member of the Woman’s League for a number of years and was a bell ringer.

Margaret was a loving, caring and devoted mother and grandmother.

Survivors include two daughters, Linda Powell Komisarek of Belmont and Michelle M. Talbot of Franklin; two stepchildren, Arthur “Nicki” Talbot of Portsmouth and Michelle Talbot of Manchester; six grandchildren, Ryan and Kayleigh of Belmont and Brittany, Natasha, Zachary and Devin, all of Franklin; a step granddaughter, Crystal Howe, of Manchester; two brothers, Armand J. Bertrand of Ware, Massachusetts and George E. Bertrand of Concord, New Hampshire; a stepbrother, Joseph E. Morin, of Laconia and several nephews and nieces.  She was predeceased by her father in 1965, by her mother in 1996, by her son, Thomas E. Talbot in 2000, and by a step brother, Sylvio V. Morin in 2001.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, June 6, 2007 from 5:00-7:00PM in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, June 7, 2007 at 9:00AM at St. Joseph Church, 30 Church Street, Laconia, NH by Rev. Gary Kosmowski, Pastor of the Church.

Burial will be in the family cemetery in Union Cemetery, Laconia, NH.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 2 Wall Street, Manchester, NH 03101.
