Michael "Squirlz" T. Squeglia

Belmont-----Michael “Squirlz” T. Squeglia, 20, of 298 Depot Street, died on Sunday, June 12, 2005, in Tilton, NH.

Michael was born October 19, 1984 in Methuen, MA, the son of Steven Desrochers and Janey Squeglia. He was raised in Mattawamkeag, Maine and had been a resident of Belmont for the past five years. He graduated from Belmont High School in 2003. Michael had been employed at McDonald’s, Tilton, Belmont Middle School, K-Mart, Hooksett and Weeks Farm Rte 140 Belmont.

Michael enjoyed working and being out of doors all of the time. He also enjoyed animals, fishing, eating, video games, writing and drawing. Michael was a very determined, strong willed person who looked out for others. He had a great sense of humor and was very kind hearted.

Survivors include is father, Steven Desrochers, of Salem, NH; his adopted mother, Sheryle Piper, of Laconia; two brothers, Brendon Desrochers and Adam Desrochers, both of Derry, NH; two sisters, Crystal Squeglia of Laconia and Heidi English, of Valrico, Florida; two step brothers, Tarance Piper and Patrick Warden, both of Laconia; three stepsisters, Tasha Warden, Sarah McNeil and Shyloe Piper all of Laconia; three nephews; three nieces; many aunts, uncles, cousins and his extended family, Sharon, Hillary and Michael Ciampi, all of Belmont. He was predeceased by his mother, Janey Squeglia, on October 6, 1999.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, June 15, 2005 from 6:00-9:00 PM at the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH. Please use the Whipple Avenue entrance.

There will be no funeral service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Michael T. Squeglia Memorial Scholarship c/o the Lakes Region Scholarship Foundation, PO Box 7312, Gilford, NH 03247-7312
