Nashua---------Craig Pickel, 59, of 33 Congress Street, Nashua died Monday, July 13 at his home after a sudden illness.

Craig was born on January 13, 1950 in Buffalo, NY the son of Theresa Pickel of Laconia and John Pickel of Tonawanda, NY. Craig was a graduate of Laconia High School where he participated in baseball and football and was a member of the class of 1969.
Craig lived in Nashua for the past thirty years. He was employed by Alfa Aesar in Ward Hill, Massachusetts. He liked sports and was active in his church. He loved his family and will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his parents, a brother and his wife, Timothy and Sherry Pickel, of Meredith, a niece and her husband, Elizabeth and Pierre Doda and their children, Joseph, Hayley, and Emily of Meredith, a nephew and his wife, Jeffrey and Kelly Pickel and son, Braden, of Round Rock, Texas.

There will be no calling hours.

A Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 21, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home on 164 Pleasant Street in Laconia using the Carriage House entrance.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the NH Humane Society, PO Box 572, Laconia, N. H. 03247.
