Laconia----Florence “Flossie” E. Forsyth, 69, of 175 Blueberry Lane, died at the Lakes Region General Hospital on Friday, July 10, 2009.

Flossie was born December 25, 1939 in New Haven, Connecticut, the daughter of Kenneth W. and Evelyn A. (Albert) Forsyth.

Flossie lived in Hamden, Connecticut for several years before moving to Laconia twenty-five years ago. She was self-employed for many years as a cook in the restaurant business.

Flossie is survived by a son, John DelChiaro, and his wife, Krissy, of Quilan, Texas; four daughters, Valerie Ludtka and her husband, Frank, of Laconia, Deborah Beck and her husband, Ron, of Punta Gorda, Florida, Karen Marceau and her husband, John, of Laconia and Sandra DelChiaro, of Franklin; ten grandchildren, Melissa, Michele, Tracy, Bethany, Leah and Danielle, all of Laconia, Ron and Chris of Punta Gorda, Florida, Emily of Texas and LCpl. JR McIntosh III, USMC, San Diego, California; her mother, Evelyn A. Daddio, of Laconia and two brothers, Kenneth Forsyth and his wife, Pam, of Wallingford, Connecticut and Thomas Daddio and his wife, Debbie, of Belmont, N.H. She was predeceased by her father, Kenneth W. Forsyth, of Athol, Mass. and by her stepfather, Carmen Thomas Daddio, of Hamden, Conn.

According to her wishes, there will be no calling hours or funeral service.
