Mary E. Paquin Flanders

Ashland----Mary E. Paquin Flanders, 76, of  85 Main Street, died at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon on Sunday, July 6, 2008.

          Mrs. Flanders was born April 20, 1932 in Whitefield, N.H.  She lived in Whitefield for several years before moving to Gilford where she lived  from 1961-1993.  For the past fifteen years, she lived in Ashland.

Mrs. Flanders was a loving mother, wife, grandmother and great grandmother. She volunteered at various churches and enjoyed needlepoint, and music.

         Mrs. Flanders is survived by her husband, Richard Flanders, of Ashland; by three sons, Mark A. Paquin of Belmont, Robert L. Paquin of Laconia and James L. Paquin of Belmont; two step sons, Alexander J. Paquin III of Laconia and Donald J. Paquin of  Loudon; two daughters, Linda L. Dowse, of  Baltimore, Maryland and Deborah A. Taylor of Belmont; a stepdaughter, Sandy A. Holmes of Austin, Minn.; a brother, Odis Gould, of Jaffrey; two sisters, Fay Ray of Rumney, N.H. and Alice Telison of Littleton; fifteen grandchildren; eight grandchildren; eleven nieces and nine nephews. Mrs. Flanders was predeceased by her first husband, Alexander Paquin, Jr.; by her mother, Beatrice Caswell; by a brother, Raymond Gould, and by a sister, Mable Robinson.

         Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, July 8, 2008 from 7:00-9:00PM in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, N. H.

         Liturgy of the Word will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 9, 2008 at 11:00AM at St. Joseph Church, 30 Church Street, Laconia, N.H. by Rev. Gary Kosmowski, Pastor of the Church.

         Burial will follow in the family lot in Bayside Cemetery, Laconia,

 N. H.

         In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 2 Wall Street, Manchester, N.H. 03101 or to the American Lung Association of NH 20 Warren Street, Suite 4, Concord, NH 03301.
