Laconia-----Lise Albertson, 45, of 13 Summer Street, died at her home on Friday, July 18, 2008.

Lise, born as Lisa Ann, on February 25, 1963 in Germantown, Penn., the daughter of George R. and Cecilia (McQuaide) Strohmeyer. 

Lise lived in Grafton and Danbury for many years before moving to Laconia in January, 2008.  She was a graphic artist and owned and operated Dragon Designs and Viking Ware Jewelry.

Motorcycles were Lise’s passion.  She was known for saying “Peace out” and “Ride to Live, Live to Ride.”

Lise is survived by her parents, George and Cecilia Strohmeyer, both of Birch Harbour, Maine; a son, Nathan Albertson of Plymouth; a daughter, Sarah Gilman, of Laconia; one granddaughter, Sadey Sherkanowski, of Laconia; two brothers, Kurt Strohmeyer of Miami, Florida and Karl Strohmeyer of Boulder, Colorado; one nephew and one niece.

There will be no calling hours.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at 4:00PM at Hippie Hill, Intersection of Rte 104 and Rte 4, Danbury, N.H.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Sadey Sherkanowski Scholarship Fund c/o Meredith Village Savings Bank, Rte. 25, Meredith, N.H. 03253.
