Josephine E. (Menno) Troisfontaine

Weirs Beach-----Josephine E. (Menno) Troisfontaine, 88, former owner and operator of the St. Moritz Terrace Motel and Chalets for over 53 years died July 5, 2007.

Josephine was born July 16, 1918 in Roslindale, Massachusetts.  Her late parents were Stella (Romano) and Ralph Menno.  Josephine came to the Lakes Region in 1948 and fell in love with Lake Winnipesaukee.  She enjoyed the lake views and mountains.

Survivors include her daughters, Denise E. Flanders and her husband, Steven, of Laconia and Lois Pineau of Walpole, Mass; two grandsons, Steven and Jonathan Flanders;  her three sisters, Anne Spellman and her husband, Arthur, of Norwood, Mass., Mildred Covelli of Norwood, Mass. and Helen Maloney of California.  She is also predeceased by her three brothers, Tony Menno, Louis Menno and Ralph Menno.

Due to Josephine’s wishes, there will be no calling hours.

Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the Belknap County Nursing Home – Sunshine Fund in memory of Josephine E. Troisfontaine, 30 County Drive, Laconia, N. H.

Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH is in charge of the arrangements.
