Gilmanton-----Douglas K. Reynolds, 69, of 287 Middle Rte. #1, died at the Lakes Region General Hospital, Laconia on Sunday, July 9, 2006.

Mr. Reynolds was born June 26, 1937 in Calais, Maine, the son of Ralph and Maude (Cumberland) Reynolds. He served in the U. S. Navy.

Mr. Reynolds lived in Merrimack, NH for several years before moving to Gilmanton eight years ago. He was employed at Wes-Garde Components for twenty-one years. Mr. Reynolds was a member of the Tabernacle of the Congregation in Gilmanton. He enjoyed gardening, fishing and hunting.

Survivors include his wife, Emma J. (Pond) Reynolds, of Gilmanton, NH; a daughter and son-in-law, Kellie and Bill Hutchinson, of Gilmanton; three grandchildren, Bradley Hutchinson. Shayna Hutchinson and Janaye Hutchinson, all of Gilmanton; two half-sisters, Bonnie Collins of New Sharon, Maine and Pamela Dunton of Farmington, Maine and several nephews and nieces. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Ralph Reynolds, by a half-brother, Clyde Dunton and by a stepsister, Brenda Buchanan.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, July 14, 2006 from 6:00-8:00PM at the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2006 at 10:00AM also at the Funeral Home. Rev. Ronald Leavitt, Pastor of the Tabernacle of the Congregation of Maine, will officiate.

A private burial will be on Monday, July 17, 2006 at 9:00AM at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen, NH.

Memorial donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
