Louise Eleanor Baker, 92, formerly of Leavitt Rd, Belmont, NH died July 24, 2005 at Haven Health Center in Claremont, NH.
She was born in Milton Mills, NH on November 30, 1912 the daughter of Phillip G. and Rosamond E. (Piper) Pike.
Louise was employed as an aide at the Laconia State School for seventeen years and worked several years greeting those who bought apples at Smith’s Apple Orchard in Belmont.
She received the Boston Post Cane for being the oldest resident of Belmont, NH on June 17, 2003.
The surviving family includes three children; Patricia L. Lique of NC,
Robert A. Hillsgrove of Claremont, NH and Richard A. “Pete” Hillsgrove of Bradford, NH; 18 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a brother Phillip Damon Pike.
Interment will be held in the Smith Meeting House Cemetery in Gilmanton, NH at a later date.
The Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home of Laconia and the Stringer Funeral Home of Claremont were in charge of arrangements.
