Laconia---Mrs. Marguerite M. (Ayotte) Morency, 85, formerly of 185 Province Street, died Friday, January 23, 2009 at Epsom Health Care Center, Epsom. She was the widow of Paul A. Morency who died in 2004.

Mrs. Morency was born January 31, 1923 in Laconia, the daughter of Alphee and Bertha (Villeneuve) Ayotte. She had lived most of her life in the Lakes Region.

Mrs. Morency had been employed at Allen Rogers for many years. She was a communicant of St. Joseph Church.

Survivors include 2 sons and daughters-in-law, John P. and Jane Morency of Chelmsford, Mass. and Paul D. and Dale Morency of Epsom; 5 grandchildren, Matthew, Sean, Trevor, Carmen and Ethan; many nephews and nieces. Beside her parents and husband, she was predeceased by 2 brothers Joseph Ayotte and Anthony Ayotte and a sister, Marion Thornton.

There are no calling hours.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 30 Church Street, Laconia on Saturday, January 31, 2009 at 11:00 AM.
Spring burial will be in St. Lambert Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph Church 30 Church Street, Laconia NH 03246.
