Belmont-----Phyllis M. Crowley, 83, formerly of 20 Valley Drive, died at Genesis Eldercare-Laconia Center on Saturday, January 10, 2009.

Mrs. Crowley was born November 22, 1925 in Lakeport, the daughter of Homer L. and Effie P. (Sumner) Crockett. She had lived in Lakeport for over seventy years before moving to Belmont.

Mrs. Crowley was employed at Cormier Mills for a number of years and also for eleven years was a Deputy Sheriff of Belknap County. She was also employed at the Laconia Meat Packing Plant.

Mrs. Crowley is survived by her husband of sixty-three years, James S. Crowley, Sr. of Laconia.

According to her wishes, there will be no calling hours or funeral service.

Burial will be in the family lot in South Road Cemetery, Belmont.
