Donna Lee (Mudgett) Lowe

Belmont-----Donna Lee (Mudgett) Lowe, 59, of 23 Winter Street, died at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon, on Sunday, January 10, 2010.

Donna was born October 12, 1950 in Laconia, N.H., the daughter of Edward H. and Mary E. (Bachelder) Mudgett.

Although at the time of her death Donna was residing in Belmont, she lived most of her life in Lakeport. She graduated from Laconia High School in 1969 and was an active member of the Laconia Drum and Bugle Corps, receiving a number of designations, awards and other recognitions.
On September 10, 1976, Donna married Dana E. Lowe of Waterbury. Vermont.

She was a long time employee of the Ames and Zayre Department Stores. She enjoyed doing crafts, watching games of her grandchildren and attending softball games of her son-in-law in the summer. She enjoyed anything that involved getting together with her family.

Donna was an active member of the P of H Grange, Wicwas Lake Chapter. She was a member and Sunday School Teacher at the Lakeport Advent Christian Church before it closed.

It seemed that everywhere Donna went she knew someone and if she didn’t, by the time she left she did. You always knew when Donna was in a place because her laugh would echo for miles it seemed. Donna was a wonderful mother, sister, daughter, wife and friend. She was always there to lend a helping hand, an ear to listen or a shoulder to cry on. Donna will be loved, remembered and missed by many.
