Lois Goddard

Gilford-----Lois Goddard, 85, of 24 Colonial Drive, died at the Lakes Region General Hospital, Laconia on Saturday, January 30, 2010.
Lois was born February 25, 1924 in Leetsdale, Penn., the daughter of Orphas and Anna Blanch (Cobun) Hamilton.
Lois lived in Exeter, NH for several years before moving to Gilford in 1975. She had been employed as a CNA at the Belknap County Nursing Home for twenty years, retiring in 1997.
Lois’ hobbies included painting, drawing, crafts, gardening, baking and cooking. She loved spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include two sons, Douglas Goddard of New Hampshire and Dennis Goddard of South Carolina; three daughters, Gail Storey of North Carolina and Debra and Donna Goddard, both of New Hampshire; ten grandchildren; five great grandchildren; a brother, Wilfred Hamilton, of Pennsylvania; a sister, Gloria Lowers, of Pennsylvania and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Lois was predeceased by two brothers, Richard Hamilton and Gerald Hamilton and by three sisters, Helene Lutz, Virginia Casseday and Edna Zuchowski.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, February 4, 2010 from 1:00-3:00PM in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, N. H.
A funeral service will follow the calling hours at 3:00PM also at the Funeral Home. Rev. Michael Graham, Pastor of the Gilford Community Church, will officiate.
Spring burial will be in the family lot in Pine Grove Cemetery, Gilford, NH.
