Barbara O. C. Toutaint Send a condolence note

Laconia-----Barbara O. C. Toutaint, 74, of 32 Baldwin Street, died at the Lakes Region General Hospital on Wednesday, January 9, 2008.

         Mrs. Toutaint was born June 16, 1933 in Laconia, N. H., the daughter of  Lorenzo D. and Doris O. (Fife) Cass.  She was raised in Belmont and graduated from Belmont High School in 1951.  For most of her life, she had been a resident of Laconia.

         Mrs. Toutaint was a home health care provider for many years.  She enjoyed gardening, her pets, collecting teddy bears, reading and cross word puzzles.

         Survivors include her husband of fifty-five years, Gerard R. Toutaint, of Laconia; four sons, Thomas G. Toutaint of Laconia, Pastor Wayne R. Toutaint and his wife, Devona, of Bristol, John D. Toutaint of Laconia, Paul S. Toutaint of Laconia; a daughter, Karen Ann Toutaint, of Laconia; a granddaughter, Marie Toutaint, of Sullivan and a grandson, Thomas N. Toutaint of Laconia who was raised by his grandparents; two special sisters, Catherine Cote of Gilford and Carol Cassell of Meredith and several nephews, nieces and cousins.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Toutaint was predeceased by two brothers, Thornton E. Cass in 1981 and Raymond S. Cass in 1990.

         A calling hour will be held from 3:00-4:00PM on Saturday, January 12, 2008 in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, N. H.

         A Funeral Service will follow the calling hour at 4:00PM also at the Funeral Home.  Pastor Wayne R. Toutaint, Mrs. Toutaint’s son and Pastor of the Bristol Baptist church, will officiate.

         Spring burial will be in Union Cemetery, Laconia, N. H.

         In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Community Health & Hospice, Inc., 780 North Main Street, Laconia, N. H. 03246
