Ethel V. Perkins Send a condolence note

Gilmanton Iron Works-----Ethel V. Perkins, 87, of 239 Pleasant Street, Concord and formerly of Gilmanton Iron Works, died on Tuesday, January 8, 2008 at the Pleasant View Center in Concord where she had been a resident for the last two years.

         Miss Perkins was born June 29, 1920 in Gilmanton Iron Works, the daughter of Walter and Eva (Glines) Perkins.  She was a lifelong resident of the Lakes Region and was employed at Scott & Williams.

         Miss Perkins loved living in Gilmanton Iron Works and enjoyed family and friends visiting her on the farm.  She loved her cats and enjoyed canning.

         Miss Perkins is survived by a sister-in-law, Rachel Perkins, of Gilmanton Iron Works and by many nephews and nieces.  She was predeceased by three brothers, Harold Perkins, Clarence Perkins and Leon Perkins and by two sisters, Alice and Doris.

         There will be no calling hours.

         A Graveside Service will be held in the spring at the family lot in Old River Side Cemetery, Alton.

         In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to assist the family c/o Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, PO Box 67, Laconia, N. H. 03247 or to the Pleasant View Center, 239 Pleasant Street, Concord, N. H. 03301.
