Karen Marion (Moore) Kenney Send a condolence note

Laconia-----Karen Marion (Moore) Kenney, 45, of 84 Merrimac Street, died at the Lakes Region General Hospital on Sunday, January 20, 2008.

Mrs. Kenney was born June 17, 1962, the daughter of Charles “Bud” C. and Marie E. (Plourde) Moore.

At the time of her death, Mrs. Kenney was employed at Headstart of Laconia where she had worked for the last three years.  She will be missed by the children and fellow workers.  In earlier years, Mrs. Kenney worked at the Laconia State School and McKerley’s Nursing Home.  She enjoyed sewing, needle work and reading.   

Survivors include her husband, Stephen S. Kenney, of Laconia; a daughter, Kendra Kenney, of Laconia; a brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Julie Moore, of Laconia; a sister and a brother-in-law, Cynthia and Leonard Huckins, of Meredith; a nephew, Bailey Moore, of Laconia and a niece, Bryce Moore, both of Laconia; her mother-in-law, Eunice Kenney, of Laconia; her father-in-law, Peter Kenney, of Salem; a sister-in-law, Laura Stebbins, two nephews, Scott Dierbto and Philip Dierbto, a niece, Teigan Stebbins,  a sister-in-law, Rebecca Kenney, and her fiancé, Matthew Austin, and two nieces, Brianna Kenney and Jayla Austin, all of Laconia and many aunts, uncles and cousins.  Mrs. Kenney was predeceased by her father in 1996 and by her mother in 1989.

Calling Hours will be held on Wednesday, January 23, 2008 from 6:00-8:00PM in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH.

A graveside service will be held in the spring at the family lot in Union Cemetery.
