Kenneth "Ken" E. Wade

Meredith-----Kenneth "Ken" E. Wade, 75, of 23 Gould Avenue, died at the Lakes Region General Hospital, Laconia on Saturday, January 29, 2005.

Mr. Wade was born September 12, 1929 in Conway, NH, the son of Leland and Nina (Hiscock) Wade. He lived in Conway for several years before moving to Meredith forty-six years ago.

Mr. Wade served in the U .S. Navy during WWII. He was a self-employed carpenter. He was employed at Kellerhaus for fifteen years and also at Hart's Turkey Farm Restaurant for ten years. Mr. Wade was a life member of the Grange, the Elks and the Odd Fellows.

Survivors include his wife, Beverly P. (Kimball) Wade, of Meredith, NH; three sons, Russell Brown of Meredith, Clifford Brown of Rochester and Christopher Parris of Meredith; one daughter, Patricia Farrington, of Methuen, MA; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren; a brother, Carroll Wade, of Conway, NH; a sister, Pauline Merrill, of S. Tamworth and several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by a sister, Geneva Wade.

There will be no calling hours.

A private graveside service will be held at the family lot in Oakland Cemetery, Meredith Center, NH.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Meredith Nursing Association, 45 NH Rte 25, Meredith, NH 03253.
