Robert D. Robinette

Tilton-----Robert D. Robinette, 78, of the New Hampshire Veterans Home, and formerly of Gilford died on Saturday, January 15, 2005.

Mr. Robinette was born July 9, 1926 in Lincoln, Nebraska, the son of Joseph and Winifred (Jay) Robinette. He had been a resident of Gilford for over thirty years and was employed at Lily Pond Mobile Homes for fifteen years. Mr. Robinette served twenty-one years in the military, two years in the U. S. Navy and nineteen years in the U. S. Army. He was a veteran of the Korean War and retired in 1964.

Mr. Robinette was a life member of the Laconia Lodge of Elks and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Laconia Post #1670.

Survivors include a son, Michael J. Robinette of Gilmanton Iron Works, NH; three daughters, Dale Wilde of Wells, Maine, Kathy Peterson of Falcon, CO and Linda Kenny of Woodsville, NH; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; three brothers, Loren Robinette of Washington, Wayne Robinette of Lincoln, Nebraska and Don Robinette of Gulfport, Mississippi and many nephews and nieces. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Arlene Hagstatt.

There will be no calling hours or funeral service
