Nancy P. Kempton

Laconia-----Nancy P. Kempton, 70, of 8A Arch Street, died at the Lakes Region General Hospital on Saturday, January 15, 2005. Mrs. Kempton was the widow of Walter D. Kempton who died in 1994.

Mrs. Kempton was born January 7, 1935 in Ashland, NH, the daughter of Elson and Virene (Downer) Perkins. She was employed at Molex for forty years, retiring in 2002.

Mrs. Kempton was a member and past president of the Auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Laconia Post #1670.

Survivors include a stepson, Robert Kempton, of Vermont; a step daughter, Phyllis Tower, of Tilton; seven step grandchildren, Sherri, Shawn, Brian, Sara, Angi, Walter and Krista; two step great grandchildren; several nephews and nieces and two very good friends, Beverly Paquin and Pauline Green and her children, Nathan, Amber, Megan & Crystal. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by a brother, Richard Perkins.

There will be no calling hours.

A Graveside Service will be held in the spring at the family lot in Union Cemetery, Laconia, NH.
