Teresa L. Richardson

Laconia, NH-----Mrs. Teresa L. Richardson, 81, of Norridgewock, Maine and formerly of 57 Pearl Street, Laconia, NH died on Thursday, January 29, 2004 at the Maplecrest Rehabilitation & Living Center in Madison, Maine where she had been a resident for the past 1 1/2 years. Mrs. Richardson was the widow of Harold A. Richardson who died in 1998.

Mrs. Richardson was born June 19, 1922 in Tamworth, NH the daughter of Edward V. & Ellen P. (Whiting) Bookholz. She was a graduate of Plymouth State College and was a psychiatric nurse at the Laconia State School and Training Center for several years, retiring in January, 1983.

Mom will be sadly missed by her three sons, Alan Severy and his wife, Sharon, of Wolfeboro, NH; Craig Richardson and his wife, Kim, of Holderness; and Aaron Richardson and his wife, Colleen, of Laconia and a daughter, Rhonda Clement and her husband, Jay, of Norridgewock, Maine. She will also be missed by six grandchildren and three great grandchildren; and a sister, Virginia Jones and her husband, James, of Lancaster, CA. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a sister, Frances Bookholz.

Mrs. Richardson was a member of the State Employees Association of New Hampshire and the S.E.A. Retired Chapter #l. She always had a love for the outdoor, which over the years, she shared with her husband and family. Animals have always been an important part of Teresa's life, especially the last few years while battling Alzheimer's disease. She will be sadly missed not only by friends and family but by her favorite doges, Sadie & Precious.

There will be no calling hours.

A graveside service will be held in the spring at the family lot at Riverside Cemetery, Tamworth, NH.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer&Mac226;s Association, NH Chapter, 10 Ferry Street, Suite 427B, Concord, NH 03301.
