Sarah A. Putnam

Belmont-----Sarah A. Putnam, 57, of Belmont, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 2, 2010.

Sarah was born in Middlebury, Vermont on November 20, 1952 to Francis and Grace (Longley) Edney.

Sarah was a long time employee of Contract Support Group in Belmont. She was a big NASCAR fan and loved doing crafts and needlepoint.

Sarah will be loved and missed by her family and friends.

Survivors include her children, John Putnam of Laconia, Christopher Putnam of Tilton and Carrie Putnam of Sanbornton; her grandchildren, Devin, Lily and Emily.; her long time companion, George “Jake” Murray, of Belmont; her mother, Grace Edney, of Vergennes, Vermont; a sister, Pearl Bullard, of Brockton, Massachusetts; a brother, Andrew Edney, of St. Albans, Vermont and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father, Francis Edney, two sisters, Andrea Martin and Mary Edney, and a brother, Dennis Edney.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2010 from 2:00-4:00PM in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, N.H.

A Funeral Service will follow the calling hours at 4:00PM also at the Funeral Home.

Burial will be a later date in South Road Cemetery, Belmont, N.H.
