Ellis H. Frank

Laconia---Ellis H. Frank, 94, of 21 Ledges Drive #330, Taylor Community, died at the Taylor Community on Wednesday, February 10, 2010 with his wife, Marion, at his side.

Mr. Frank was born February 18, 1915 in Jacksonville, Florida, the son of Charles I and Bessie (Greenfield) Frank. He was raised in Brooklyn, New York and graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy.

Mr. Frank served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and worked with a military supply company due to his naval background. Their specialty was designing pontoons for the troops.

Before taking an early retirement, Mr. Frank was an executive with IPC in Bristol, NH for many years. After his retirement, he volunteered for a number of years with SCORE, giving advice to new, small businesses.

Mr. Frank and his wife have been residents of the Taylor Community for over two decades. He was a Mason and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star of NH and the Scottish Rite Supreme Council of Massachusetts for over fifty years.

Mr. Frank is survived by his wife of fifty-six years, Marion (Christie) Frank, of Laconia.

There will be no calling hours.

A private funeral service will be held.

Spring burial will be in the family plot in New Hampton Village Cemetery, New Hampton, NH.
