Clarence Ayotte

Tilton-----Clarence Ayotte, formerly of Laconia, passed away peacefully Saturday, February 6, 2010 at the NH Veterans Home in Tilton, where he was cared for by the best nursing staff available.

Clarence was born in Van Buren, Maine in 1928 and was one of eleven children. Clarence was predeceased by his loving wife, Wanda, and their youngest son, Michael.

Clarence joined the Navy at the age of seventeen and then transferred to the Air Force for the rest of his military career. Clarence served in Korea, Germany, France and Vietnam before retiring. After his retirement, Clarence worked for the New Hampshire Forestry Department.
Clarence was a joy to be around. He enriched the lives of everyone he came in contact with. We will miss him very much.

Clarence is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, John Ayotte, and his wife, Susan, of Laconia; one sister, Lori Rodrique, of Florida; three brothers, Bert Ayotte and Danny Ayotte, both of Augusta, Maine and Alyre Ayotte, of Van Buren, Maine. In addition to his wife and young son, Clarence was predeceased by four sisters, Mildred Charette, Jennette Coe, Mona Gagnon and Francine Boucher and by two brothers, Alphedore Ayotte and Dominick Ayotte.

There will be no calling hours.

Burial will be in the spring in St. Lambert Cemetery, Laconia.
