Michael Gerard Tokarz Send a condolence note

Lee, Massachusetts------Michael Gerard Tokarz, 23, of Lee, Massachusetts, died at the Berkshire Medical Center, Pittsfield, Mass. on Friday, February 22, 2008 as a result of an automobile accident.

         Mike was born October 2, 1984 in Laconia, N. H., the son of Stanley R. and Brenda (Griffin) Tokarz. He was raised in Laconia and graduated from Laconia High School in 2003. 

         Mike was employed at the Mobil Convenience Store in Lee, Mass. and was formerly employed as a radio technician at Lily Pond Communications in Gilford, NH from 1996 to 2007. He enjoyed his work and loved working with his Dad. He had been a resident of Lee since December 2007.

         Mike loved to play basketball and video games and enjoyed music, reading and snowboarding.

         Survivors include his father, Stanley R. Tokarz, of Laconia; his mother, Brenda Clement, and her husband, Arlyn, of Plymouth; two aunts, Patricia Barbour and her husband, Albert, of Lee, N.H. and Lorraine Foremny and her husband, Frank, of Goshen, New York and a cousin.   His brother, Benjamin J. Tokarz, also died as a result of the accident.

         Calling hours for Mike and his brother will be held on Tuesday, February 26, 2008 from 2:00-4:00PM and 6:00-8:00PM in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, N.H.

         A Mass of Christian Burial for Michael and Benjamin will be con-celebrated on Wednesday, February 27, 2008 at 1:00PM at St. Joseph Church, 30 Church Street, Laconia, N.H. by Rev. Gary Kosmowski, Pastor of the Church and Rev. Michael Griffin a cousin and former pastor of St. Joseph Church.

Spring burial will be in the family lot in Bayside Cemetery, Laconia, N.H.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Michael and Benjamin may be made to the Lakes Region Scholarship Foundation, P. O. Box 7312, Gilford, NH 03247.
