Terry A. Pelchat Send a condolence note

Andover-----Terry A. Pelchat, 64, of 16A Overlook Ave. died at the Concord Hospital Friday, February 8, 2008 after a sudden illness.

Terry was born in Laconia the daughter of Lee and Dorothy (Blaisdell) Clow. She graduated from Laconia High School in 1962 and had lived for many years in Laconia before moving to Lebanon in 1990 and had been a resident of Andover for the past 8 years.

Terry was Garde Mange Chef in the hospitality industry for nearly 40 years and had received numerous awards for her culinary presentation including magnificent tallow sculptures. She had formerly been employed at Christmas Island and the Margate in Laconia and later at the Center of New Hampshire in Manchester and also at the Vermont Law School.

After she retired, she would travel to Massachusetts each week for the past 6 years to take care of her grandchildren. She was a loving wife for 37 years and a super Grammy.

Terry was artistic, creative, loving, caring and a teacher.

Survivors include her husband, Romeo William “Bill” Pelchat, of Andover; 2 sons, Earl W. Duval of Woburn, MA and Timothy L. Duval and his wife, Jen, of Col.; 4 grandchildren, Brandon and Blake Duval and Hope and Noah Drake Duval; 2 sisters, Niki Sorell of Meredith and Sonja Dockham of Laconia; several nieces and nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews.

A calling hour will be held Wednesday February 13, 2008 from 2:00-3:00 PM at the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home 164 Pleasant Street Laconia using the Carriage House entrance.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00PM also at the funeral home following the calling hour.

Spring burial will be in South Road Cemetery, Belmont.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Norris Cotton Cancer Center, Gynecologic Cancer Program, Ovarian Cancer, One Medical Center Drive, Lebanon NH 03756.
