Walter T. Mooney, Sr. Send a condolence note

Franklin---Walter T. Mooney, Sr., 57 of 1 A Charles Street, Franklin and formerly of 10 Prospect Street, Tilton died at his home on Friday February 29, 2008.

Walter was born January 18, 1951 in Franklin the son of Claude V. and Gladys (LaCaire) Samuelson. He had lived in the Tilton-Franklin area since 1989 coming from Laconia.

Walter had been employed at Laconia Shoe for many years and later in construction. He was a member of the Trinity Episcopal Church of Tilton.

Survivors include his wife of 39 years Gladys M. (Colson) Mooney of Franklin; a son Walter T. Mooney, Jr. of Franklin; a daughter Teri Johnson of Franklin; 5 grandchildren; 3 brothers Arthur Mooney of Winnisquam, Sam Samuelson and Ralph Samuelson both of Franklin; a sister Grace Sanborn of Tilton; many nephews and nieces. Beside his parents he was predeceased by a daughter Tracy Mooney in 1970.

A Calling hour will be held Tuesday March 4, 2008 from 2-3PM at the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home 164 Pleasant Street Laconia using the Carriage House entrance. The Funeral Service will follow the calling hour at 3:00 PM also at the Funeral Home. The Rev. Mark Kozielec, Priest-in-Charge of the Trinity Episcopal Church of Tilton will officiate.

Spring burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Gilford.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Trinity Episcopal Church, POBox 225 Tilton, NH 03276.
