Rev. Arthur Parker Send a condolence note

Gilford, NH-----Rev. Arthur Parker, 62, of Rapid City, South Dakota, died at his son’s home on Pinecrest Drive on Sunday, February 24, 2008. He was the widower of Juanita (Felch) Parker who died October 24, 2005. Juanita was the love of his life, and he missed her dearly.

Mr. Parker was born June 10, 1945 in Concord, N.H., the son of Clifton and Louise (Pihl) Parker. Prior to his retirement, he lived in Clarendon Hills, Illinois for many years where he was the Rector of the Holy Nativity Episcopal Church.

Mr. Parker was a member of the Escapees RV Club and the Harley Owners Group. In his retirement he enjoyed riding his motorcycle and spending time with his family, especially the special trip he was able to take his grandson on.

Rev. Parker is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Stacy and Kimberly Parker, of Gilford; two grandchildren, Drake Parker and Olivia Parker, also of Gilford; a brother, Donald Parker, of Salisbury, N.H. and two nephews and three nieces.

There will be no calling hours.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, March 4, 2008 at 11:00AM at St. James Episcopal Church, 876 North Main Street, Laconia, N.H. Rev. Hank Junkin, Rector of the Church, will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Episcopal Relief & Development Fund, US disaster response team @ DFMS.org
