Belmont-----Richard E. Rollins, Jr., 56, of 208 Bean Hill Road died at Lakes Region General Hospital, Laconia, on Sunday February 20, 2005.

Mr. Rollins was born August 14, 1948 in Laconia, NH, the son of Dorothy V. (Swift) and Richard E. Rollins, Sr. Mr. Rollins was a life time resident of the Lakes Region and was employed at the Lakes Region Laundry & Cleaners for many years. Mr. Rollins was a communicant of St. Joseph Church, Laconia.

Survivors include his wife, Clara (Leonard) Rollins, of Belmont, NH; his mother, Dorothy (Swift) Rollins of Laconia, NH; two stepsons, Duke Smith of Laconia, NH and Claude Patten III of Belmont, NH; 5 grandchildren; two brothers, Ken Rollins of Penacook, NH and Glen Rollins of Tilton, NH; two sisters, Bonnie Blackey of Laconia, NH and Tina Tarr of Belmont, NH and several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his father, Richard E. Rollins, Sr., in 2000.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, February 22, 2005 from 7-9 PM using the Carriage House entrance of the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph Church, 30 Church Street, Laconia, NH on Wednesday February 23, 2005 at 10:00 AM. Rev. Gary Kosmowski pastor of the church will be the Celebrant. Spring burial will be in the family lot at Union Cemetery, Laconia, NH.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association of NH, 9 Cedarwood Drive Unit 12, Bedford, NH 03110.
