Gilmanton-----George Otis Page, 75, of 541 Meeting House Road, died Monday February 21, 2005 at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon.

Mr. Page was born October 10, 1929 in Gilmanton, NH, the son of Frank J. and Helen Otis (Wyatt) Page.

Mr. Page served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War. He lived in Lynnfield, MA for several years before moving back to Gilmanton in 1966.

Mr. Page was an attorney for over thirty-six years and was the Sexton of the Smith Meeting House Cemetery since 1971. He was a member of the NH Bar Association, the NH Cemetery Association, the NE Cemetery Association and the Smith Meeting House Church Association. From 1984-1986, he was president of the N.H. Cemetery Association and was a member of the Board of Directors of the N.H. Cemetery Association. He was an Elder at the South Barnstead Christian Fellowship, South Barnstead, NH.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth F. (Berry) Page, of Gilmanton, NH; a son, John S. Page III, also of Gilmanton, NH; two sisters, Evelyn Uhlenberg of Florida and Massachusetts and Ethel Cushing of Laconia, NH and many nephews and nieces. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two sisters, Laura French, in 2004 and Dottie Roach.

There are no calling hours.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Spring burial will be held at the family lot in Smith Meeting House Cemetery, Gilmanton, NH.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Smith Meeting House Cemetery Association, Harold McArdle, Treasurer, c/o Gilmanton Town Hall, PO Box 550, Gilmanton, NH 03237.
